If you would like a copy of a detailed walk route description, please contact Nigel Arkle and he will be happy to provide one.

If you wish to take part in any of the listed walks then let us know by e–mail on the Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday preceding the walk. If you send your message to Chris, Alan and Graham it will cover periods when one or more of us are away.

If you do not have e–mail, then contact Chris by phone on or before the Thursday evening prior to the walk between 6:00pm and 9:00pm to let us know you are coming. If you leave a message, Chris will not ring you back unless you are a new member. Just meet at the usual meeting place.

If subsequently you find that you cannot make it, please give us a ring or text and let us know. If this is on the morning of the walk then ring Alan’s mobile; the number is in the newsletter

Meeting places are the car park opposite The Woodman in Peterborough PE3 6SQ (latitude:longitude = N52°34’04.75”:W0°17’29.22”) and for walks where we travel north up the A1 The Danish Invader Pub in Stamford PE9 2SX (latitude:longitude = N52°39’13.66”:W0°30’04.93”) as indicated in walk details below. For Lincolnshire walks we sometimes by arrangement have a meeting place in Market Deeping which is the public car park on Halfleet PE6 8DU (latitude:longitude = N52°40’56.26”:W0°19’30.87”). Click on the links for maps of the meeting points.

You should bring a packed lunch unless stated otherwise. Please bring a change of shoes so that you do not get mud over the cars

We may split into groups on the day if there are sufficient numbers and sutiable walk leaders. But one group will always do the advertised walk.

On Walking Club weekends away, if there is a suitably experienced member of the Club who can not make the weekend but would like to lead an alternative local walk, then please contact Alan in advance and he will publicise it on the website.
