Walk 05/2009 – Hartington.

This walk takes a route from Hartington to Brund and then along the Manifold valley to Longnor. It returns along the Dove valley via Pilsbury Castle Hills.

It was good weather for walking and there are some good views. For some it was the best walk they had done for some time and it was given an “excellent” rating.

After completing the walk some visited the cheese shop in the viilage to but some of the locally made cheese. The hotel in the square provided the venue for tea before returning home.
