Walk 17/2009 – Heacham/Hunstanton

Sunday 28th June 2009

This walk day was notable in that lots of those who came wanted to walk 16 miles on one of the hottest days of the year. Alan thought they were mad and, not anticipating that they would be so mad, did not suggest we took enough cars so that we could come back separately.

So some people who wanted to do the 16 miles could not. Although I suspect they were grateful by the end.

So we split into two groups, one doing a leisurely 8 miles and the other 16 miles.

The 8 milers were sitting outside a pub by 4pm, from where we could text the others describing the lovely cold drinks we were supping.
