Please note that following the mandate given to the committee at last April’s AGM, we have changed club’s insurance arrangements. With effect from 1 January 2012 we will be insured via the Ramblers rather than the BMC. The insurance via the Ramblers is substantially cheaper as the insurers consider hill walking to be a lesser risk than rock climbing. Insurance with the Ramblers is also administratively a lot simpler. We will be reviewing the club’s membership fees at the coming AGM so that they fairly reflect our reduced insurance charges. Please note that with effect from 1 January 2012 you are insured for all club activities, but not for any walking or activities you do outside the club. Please contact Roger Hall if you need any more precise details of our new policy.
Please note we have changed the walk on 12th February to avoid having consecutive Peak District walks.
